Our Vision for a Corruption-Free J&K

The Jammu & Kashmir National Democratic Party (JKNDP) envisions a system of governance where integrity, transparency, and accountability are paramount. We believe that corruption is a significant impediment to progress, eroding public trust and diverting resources from critical development projects. Our anti-corruption policy is designed to establish a robust framework that eliminates graft at all levels of administration.

Key Objectives

• Zero-Tolerance Stance: To enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy against corruption, ensuring swift and decisive action against any official found guilty, regardless of rank or position.
• Digital Governance: To leverage technology for minimizing human interface in public service delivery. We will promote e-tendering, online bill payments, and digital record-keeping to reduce opportunities for bribery.
• Whistleblower Protection: To enact and enforce a strong Whistleblower Protection Act, ensuring the safety and anonymity of individuals who expose corruption within the system.
• Public Accountability: To establish independent and empowered anti-corruption bodies and conduct regular social audits of government projects, making officials directly accountable to the people they serve.

Implementation Strategy

We will set up a dedicated Anti-Corruption Task Force to oversee the implementation of this policy. This includes strengthening the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), simplifying bureaucratic procedures, and launching massive public awareness campaigns to educate citizens about their rights and the mechanisms available to report corruption. By fostering a culture of integrity, we will build a prosperous and just future for all citizens of Jammu & Kashmir.
